The student writes a text without paragraphs and there is not missing basic information. There are not titles and s/he does not follow the format.

The student writes paragraphs with right information but incomplete. The writing can be read and the message can be understood. 

The student writes a text with the relevant requested information, including the format of the writing. The register used is right.

Coherence

The student makes serious mistakes of organizing the ideas.  There is irrelevant information in her/his writing.

The student creates a disorganized text. There is confusion between the meaning or use of some words. It is not easy to understand the message.

The student makes a well organized text. S/he makes a clear exposition of her/his ideas. There are no unnecessary repetitions or irrelevant information.

Cohesion

The student writes bad structured ideas. There are no punctuation marks or there are many in wrong cases.

The student writes the text with punctuation mistakes that complicate the comprehension. There are missing linking words (conjunctions).

The student creates a text with good linking ideas. The punctuation mark is right.

Spelling

The student writes the text with more than 15 spelling mistakes.

The student writes the text with more than 6 spelling mistakes.

The student writes the text without spelling mistakes.

Vocabulary

The student writes the text by using basic vocabulary and with more than 6 spelling mistakes.

The student writes the text by using non specific vocabulary and with 3 o 4 spelling mistakes.

The student writes the text by using right and specific vocabulary. There is only 1 0 2 spelling mistakes or even better there is no one.
